The HPHA is saddened to announce that Stella Hojnacki, founding member and 50/50 raffler extraordinaire at membership meetings has passed away. Stella resided at 74 Sussex Street and served on the HPHA board as treasurer.

The viewing will be held at Bromirski's on Warren Street, Sunday November 15th from 2 pm - 6 pm. Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 16th at 9:30 am, OLC on Sussex Street.

Sean Connelly, current HPHA board member who grew up in Paulus Hook remembers Stella's "kruschiki, galumpkis, tea cookies, kielbasa and more - wrapped up in fond memories dancing the polka, singing, poker, praying and of course an inimitable and sometimes chagrining forthrightness."

Stella, your energy, spirit and love of Paulus Hook and the HPHA will be missed.
